If you are a Bronze or Silver customer and moving within our service area, we will transition you to our new Fi TV Select product offering. You can still receive your current channels and now you have the flexibility to add HD, a DVR and even premium channels.
Because all features packages now include HD, you will need a STB in order to receive the HD signal. Even if you don’t have an HD TV, you won’t be able to receive EPB’s TV signal with Fi TV Select package unless you have an STB on each TV.
Unfortunately no. Set top boxes with a DVR must be wired directly to your television.
Unfortunately no. Existing DVR recordings do not transfer over. The settings for future recordings will transfer over, but you will lose previously recorded content.
We now offer television in a 4K Ultra HD signal — which has up to 4 times more pixels than full HD. This enhanced signal is the sharpest available picture quality. However, customers will need to have a 4K television in order to take advantage of this ultra high definition technology.
In order to deliver that strong of a video signal, your set top box must be wired directly to a 4K Ultra HD television. This means that wireless set top boxes are not available for 4K Ultra HD.
Since this is new technology, very little programming is available in 4K or UHD. But much like HD was once uncommon, we expect 4K Ultra HD channels to become the norm in the future. Currently, EPB Fiber Optics offers the following channels in 4K Ultra HD to customers who subscribe to the Ultimate Features Package.
