EPB is receiving reports that some customers are receiving scam calls demanding immediate payment to avoid disconnection. Calls may come from an (865) area code and request customers contact (888) 766-1334 or another number that doesn’t begin with area code (423).

Real EPB contacts have a (423) area code, and we do not call customers demanding immediate payment over the phone.

Your phone is programmed with your specific extension information. So, the easiest way to change phones without having us reprogram it is to take it with you to a new office so the programming and preferences will stay with the phone. If you want a different handset model, or have any questions, please contact your plan administrator.
