How do I see my balance in the app?

Using the app requires a MyEPB username and password. If you don’t already have one, simply visit epb.com/register to create one in seconds.

How do I install the widget on my iOS device?

Follow these steps to install your EPB PrePay Power widget:

  • Step One: Touch and hold an empty space on your iPhone home screen until your apps start to jiggle.
  • Step Two: Tap the plus sign (+) in the top-left corner to open the Widget Gallery.
  • Step Three: In the search bar, type MyEPB and select the PrePay widget from the list.
  • Step Four: The PrePay widget is available in four sizes—so you can pick the layout that works best for your home screen. Swipe to preview the options, then tap ‘Add Widget’.
  • Step Five: Drag the widget where you want on your home screen and tap ‘Done.’
How do I install the widget on my Android device?

Follow these steps to install your EPB PrePay Power widget:

  • Step One: Touch and hold an empty space on your Android phone until you see options appear.
  • Step Two: Tap Widgets to see the menu of options.
  • Step Three: In the search bar, type MyEPB and select the PrePay widget from the list.
  • Step Four: Choose the ‘Add’ button.
  • Step Five: Drag the edges of the widget to the size you’d like to use, then position it to an open spot on your home screen.
Why isn’t my balance showing up on the widget?

You must be signed into the MyEPB app for the data to connect with the widget and be displayed.

Are there reconnection fees if I get disconnected?

EPB PrePay Power accounts may be reconnected by bringing your PrePay balance up to at least $50. No reconnection fee is required and services can be reconnected in minutes.

What happens if my PrePay balance runs out?

If your balance reaches zero, your service will be temporarily disconnected. But as soon as you make a payment, your power is automatically restored—usually within minutes.

Can I unenroll from EPB PrePay Power?

Yes, you can switch back to traditional monthly billing or Levelized Billing at any time.
