Rules and Regulations

To ensure that your electric rate reflects the actual cost of power, TVA includes a Monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment which is driven by the market cost of the fuel used to generate your power. The Monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment is mostly driven by fluctuations in the current cost of natural gas and coal. Here is the latest Total Monthly Fuel Cost information for residential customers along with the commercial rate classes:

We also post the TVA approved rate schedules, so you can review the details of your electric power rates in accordance with your rate class.
