No. You must have EPB Fi-Speed Internet for Business to be eligible for Smart Net Plus for Business Wi-Fi service. Smart Net Plus for Business Wi-Fi can be added to your EPB business internet for a separate cost of $25 more per month.
Yes. Please contact EPB at 423-648-1500 immediately if your device is stolen. We can disable the account to prevent access to your number. If your device was logged out of the account, the user must have the user name and password in order to authorize use. But our recommendation is to contact us, so we can disable the account and avoid any usage.

This option eliminates paying the full amount of the Roku sticks upfront and allows the cost to be broken out on your bill in monthly increments (up to maximum of 6 months). Furthermore, once the Roku stick(s) are paid in full, the charge will no longer show on your bill.

Once you have your Fi TV for Business account established for the first time, installing other devices is a matter of signing into the device, downloading the app, and connected to your Wi-Fi network. If you subscribe to an EPB Managed Wi-Fi service, we will be happy to assist you in installing another device at no charge. Most of the time we can assist you over the phone, but if we cannot resolve or help you over the phone, we will roll a truck. There is no ongoing cost, but a one-time $9 activation charge, per device and the initial cost of the Roku® streaming device. Additionally, EPB can sell you the Roku® streaming stick® at our cost, and you can spread that cost out on your monthly bill for up to 6 months.
There is a maximum of 100 messages that can be saved at any given time. You can delete a message over the phone by following the prompts after you listen to the message. If you are out of storage, your caller will get the message “mailbox is full.” Therefore, it’s always a good idea to delete messages after listening to them.
As an addition to your EPB business internet, Smart Net Plus for Business is just $25 more per month with our standard router, plus $10 more per month for an additional Access Point (if necessary).
When your business signs a product contract with EPB Fiber Optics, you are essentially locking in your rate (with the exception of Fi TV). Your rate will stay the same through the end of your contract for EPB Hosted Camera. However, if we do have to take a rate increase (due to rising costs) we always provide ample notice to our customers before making any changes and the price will only go into effect once your contract expires.

So, if another carrier experiences a disaster there could be issues completing calls outside of EPB’s calling area. If you voluntarily discontinue your EPB Hosted Camera account, your recordings are deleted from the cloud-based vault. However, if you are disconnected due to a non-payment on your account, recordings will be retained, and your account restricted until payment is made.
You can add apps from your Roku account page online or on the device itself. Any apps added will add automatically to all Roku devices logged into your Roku account. You can search for specific apps or browse by category. Once you find an app, click the button to download and install on your device. Then simply fill out any required fields to sign up and start enjoying the free content. It’s that easy. And if you like, one of our Tech Pros will walk you through this over the phone.
Because existing set top box technology is aging and will soon be outdated, we will no longer supply additional set top boxes for customers on our older platform of business television service. However, we are happy to work with you to transition you to either the newest Fi TV for Business or our free Managed Streaming TV for Business solution.
Your vault includes unlimited storage. Clips can be saved in 1-hour increments and kept for as long as you like.

Installation can take less than 15 minutes. Once you have one Roku device, the setup for any other device is less than a few minutes. The other devices must be plugged in, connected to WiFi and signed into your account. One great thing about Roku is everything is at the account level, so once your account is set up for the first time with the desired apps, onboarding other devices is easy.
EPB will replace any non-working cameras, but theft or vandalization of EPB equipment would be the sole responsibility of the customer. However, if a camera is vandalized or stolen, since the camera is always recording, you should be able to get a video of the event up to when the camera goes offline. EPB will bill the customer for the unreturned rate of the cameras, and then we can re-install new ones, if you like. Most businesses carry insurance, and these types of instances are most often covered. However, talk with your insurance company to get specifics on what is covered under your policy.

It depends on several factors. EPB creates a separate internet connection that is locked down for security reasons, so your phone service does share your business internet connection. If the on-premises internet connection has issues due to your equipment failure, the phones would continue to work. However, if an internet outage is an external issue, then phone service may cease to work until the outage is resolved. The root of the problem determines if any phone outage will occur. The only upfront cost is the purchase of your Roku® devices, which you can order from retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, or you can buy them through EPB for the same retail cost. If you choose to purchase them through EPB, you can pay for them on your monthly bill spread over a 6-month period. If you choose this option, it will be part of your purchase agreement/proposal and will appear on your bill each month until the equipment is paid for in full. There is an activation cost of $9.00 per device — which can also be billed over the 6-month period — so switching to the new solution does not require any upfront out of pocket expense.

Once you have your Roku® account established for the first time, installing other devices is a matter of signing into the new device and activating the WiFi to your network. We will be happy to assist you in installing another device. Most of the time we can assist you over the phone, but if we can’t for some reason, we’ll be glad to send a technician to your business. A $9 installation fee applies if we must set up the device onsite.

Once you choose the content you want, you can either purchase your own Roku® streaming devices or you can buy them from EPB.
