Window Rebates

Save money on energy bills and get rebates for upgrading your home’s windows

Get $15 back for every high-efficiency window replacement

They’re literally your window to the world, and one of the first things people notice about your home. But believe it or not, you can lose up to 30% of your home’s heated or cooled air thru aging single-pane windows. Replacing them with energy-efficient double-paned windows will look fantastic and can reduce energy use, increase comfort – and earn rebates!

*Rebates are now available through the EnergyRight® Residential Services program brought to you by EPB and TVA. Rebates are available on qualifying measures installed by a member of our Quality Contractor Network (QCN). Beginning October 1, 2023, QCN members must initiate your rebate claim within 30 days of completing your project by submitting qualifying measures on your behalf to TVA.

Here’s what to look for in replacement windows:

  • Energy Star Rating – independent testing certifies superior energy efficiency performance
  • Double-paned Glass – two panes of glass with an air or gas-filled space insulate much better than single pane glass
  • Frame Material – there are a variety of materials available, including fiberglass and vinyl, that reduce heat transfer
  • U-Factor Insulation Rating – measures how well the window insulates. Look for a rating of 0.28 or lower
  • Solar Heat Gain Coefficient – measures the amount of solar heat allowed through a window. We recommend a rating of 0.30
  • Low E Glass – equipped with a coating that reflects infrared light, keeping heat inside in the winter and outside in the summer
