Consumer Reports ranks EPB among America’s best internet providers

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (June 3, 2025) – In its 2025 ranking of the “Best and Worst Home Internet Providers,” Consumer Reports ranked EPB among the best in the U.S.—#2 Nationwide. The world’s fastest community-wide all-fiber optic network scored five out of five in all categories, including Value, Reliability, Speed, Technical Support and Customer Service.

Nationally, fiber optic customers experienced higher satisfaction than all other types, outranking 5G cellular, satellite and others. EPB operates the only 100% fiber optic network with symmetrical upload and download speeds in this service area.

“We’re grateful to our customers for continuing to give us their seal of approval in Consumer Reports’ national rankings for home internet providers,” said EPB CEO David Wade. “We know our customers look to us to provide the world’s fastest community-wide internet at the best value. Congratulations to our team for their dedication to keeping our community on the cutting edge with speeds up to 25 Gig and other options to meet our customers’ needs.”
