MEDIA STATEMENT: J.D. Power names EPB top Midsize Utility in the South in Brand Appeal for second time
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 24, 2025) - In J.D. Power’s second U.S. Utility Brand Appeal Index Study, customers recognized EPB for innovation, reputation and trust, according to the report issued July 23, 2025. EPB’s scores, based entirely on customer surveys, ranked EPB the top Midsize Utility in the South in Brand Appeal for the second year in a row. The study relies on customer feedback to generate Brand Appeal Indices for 151 electric and gas utilities across the country.
J.D. Power also recognized EPB in December 2024 for achieving nine consecutive years as #1 in Customer Satisfaction Among Midsize Utilities in the South, based on customer feedback.
