Can Smart Net Plus for Business support hard-wired devices or is it a WiFi only service?

Your Smart Net Plus for Business router has 3 ethernet LAN ports for connecting your most important hard-wired systems such as point-of-sale hardware, printers, computers, and more. You can also purchase a network switch from another vendor that will enable you to connect more hard-wired devices to your Smart Net Plus for Business router.

It’s a cloud-based video monitoring system that lets you view live and recorded video from your laptop, tablet, or smartphone, so you know you have constant visibility of your business, and peace of mind that your operations are running smoothly, wherever you are. The service is installed, supported, and maintained by EPB 24/7/365 days a year.

Most people think of saving recordings because of an incidence involving theft or destruction of property. However, recordings can be used for training opportunities, to document employee/customer interactions, or learn customer behaviors within the place of business (foot traffic).

EPB Hosted Camera is designed for businesses of all sizes — whether you need one or a dozen. We work with you on the solution right for your business location, and you can add more cameras at any time you need them (up to 12).

You can access your video feeds anytime via your personal portal on any desktop computer with a web browser. Your EPB technician will also show you how to download the app to your mobile devices and also view from your smartphones and tablets.

Our professional installation includes hardwiring each camera to your fiber network infrastructure for optimal performance.

Yes, you can get an evening install, and no EPB does not charge a different rate for an after-hours appointment. We will make every effort to find a time that works for you and your business to install your WiFi solution.
