How big is the Solar Share array?

The Solar Share array includes 4,408 solar panels on 3.8 acres. The total power output of the entire array is nearly 2 million Kilowatt Hours per year – which could supply the annual energy needs of approximately 130 average homes.

Yes. Only professionals who are part of the Quality Contractor Network are approved by EPB and TVA to complete home energy projects that qualify for EPB and TVA EnergyRight® Home Energy Rebates. Contractors can always register to become part of the network.

Yes. Tune-ups for existing electric Heat Pumps or Central Air Conditioning systems can earn a $50 EPB and TVA EnergyRight® Home Energy Rebate per HVAC system.

As part of EPB's Automated Grid, electric meters have the ability to communicate with the power system and measure your electric consumption every 15 minutes. If there is a power outage or unusual consumption at your home or business we can respond immediately and fix the problem. You can view your own consumption, report outages and more on the MyEPB app.

Log in to the MyEPB portal on the home page of EPB.com. There you can manage your accounts, see your usage, pay your bills and more.

Your rebate will not be affected by the outcome of a Quality Assurance Checkup and you will receive your rebate after submitting your information through the link provided in the MyTVA email. Your EPB Energy Pros℠ will work directly with your contractor on the next steps to fix any issues. And after any issues have been addressed and rectified, the EPB Energy Pro℠ will come out to your home for a second time to recheck the work.
