How long does it take to get my EPB & TVA EnergyRight® Home Energy Rebate?

When your project is complete, your contractor will submit your rebate information to TVA EnergyRight on your behalf. TVA EnergyRight will then send you an email from “MyTVA@MyTVA.com” asking you to confirm the details of your project, and claim your rebate. To make sure your rebate is processed within TVA’s redemption timeframe, please provide this information within 60 days. After you submit this information, you should expect to receive your rebate check within 4-6 weeks.

As part of EPB's Automated Grid, electric meters have the ability to communicate with the power system and measure your electric consumption every 15 minutes. If there is a power outage or unusual consumption at your home or business we can respond immediately and fix the problem. Yes. In addition to your refrigerator, they are the most energy-hungry appliances in any home. Always set washer and dryer controls for the load size. Hot water heating accounts for 90% of the energy your washing machine uses, so washing clothes in cold water can save more than $40 annually. And, saving 15 minutes of drying time per load can save up to $34 a year. Plus, a 10-minute shower uses 5 gallons less hot water than filling up a bathtub. Lowering your water heater’s thermostat to 120°F provides plenty of hot water and saves energy. And, installing low-flow shower heads can wash away up to $145 in energy costs each year.
