Local, award-winning service and tech support for your family’s needs

We are offering the best prices we can up front, with no introductory prices that skyrocket after the introductory period is over, and you’ll get the best value when you bundle two or more services with us.

We are in the process of contacting property managers throughout our service area to discuss delivering EPB Fiber Optics.

To learn more about EPB Fiber Optics availability at your apartment complex, give us a call at 423-648-1372.

EPB Fiber Optics Email provides 10GB of free storage for your messages and attachments. Storage use is based on the size of all of the messages and attachments in your mail, including those in Spam and Trash. So you might want to check those boxes and delete the info you no longer need.

Fiber optics are laser-generated pulses of light that travel over hair-thin strands of glass fiber. Because light travels faster than any other power source, fiber optics makes everything faster. Uploading, downloading and speeds are all improved because fiber optics sends information with the speed of light. Traditional communications companies use copper lines to transfer their signal to your home. EPB Fiber Optics is the area’s only provider that uses 100% fiber optics.

Making the Green Power Switch helps our community support cleaner, more environmentally friendly energy generation options, in partnership with TVA.

By purchasing one or more 150 kilowatt-hour blocks of Green Power for $4 each per month, you support the use of renewable energy resources like wind, solar power and methane gas. These resources generate energy with less pollution, from sources right here in the Chattanooga area. While no energy resource is completely impact-free, each block of Green Power you purchase makes a difference.

Yes, EPB is still offering TVA’s Green Power Switch and Southeastern RECs.

Green Power Switch charges $4 for 150 kWh of a mix of alternative generation, mainly wind from across TVA’s service territory. EPB Solar Share offsets are $5 for 100 kWh of local, Chattanooga-made, 100% solar power.

Green Power Providers is a TVA-led program that supports renewable energy generation systems installed at homes and businesses (including solar, wind, biomass or low-impact hydropower). In addition to some Federal tax credits, TVA will pay for kilowatt hours generated.

EPB is happy to provide technical support for any such installation, as all equipment must be in compliance with national standards and applicable codes and must be certified by a licensed electrician. Additionally, EPB requires a one-time charge of $150 for system interconnection.

TVA will then purchase 100% of the green power output, paying the current electric rate for all output (visit TVA’s website for guidelines and current rates). Payment is made in the form of a credit issued by EPB on the monthly power bill for the home or business where the generation system is located.

To learn more, visit Green Power Providers Program or call us at 423-648-1372.

Our business is helping you do yours, 24/7

We provide Fi-Speed Internet access to your office or business facility, but we do not set up or manage customer systems or hardware. If you have multiple computers or systems that will need reconnecting once your Fi-Speed Internet service is live, you may need to ensure your vendor or IT professional is on hand to assist.

Each message can be up to three minutes long.

Short codes are short numeric speed dial codes that can be set up within your business phone system so that you can quickly make interoffice calls without dialing a whole phone number or extension. You may also establish customized short codes for frequently dialed numbers outside your business (for instance, you may set up a short code to call another office location, a vendor or a customer).

Yes. You can easily forward voice messages to another mailbox by pressing 5 while listening to a voice message from any phone, or by accessing your voicemail online via the Commportal.

Accessing the internet through your new Fi-Speed Internet service requires the same types of equipment needed to access any other non-fiber optics internet. Typically, this includes internet- and wireless-enabled devices (computers, smartphones, tablets), Ethernet cables and a wireless router if you want to set up a Wi-Fi network.
